Wow… we’ve seen a massive increase in Passbook interest and excitement since iOS7 was released to the public.  And so you can capitalise on this growing wave we are pleased to provide you with the ‘Add to Passbook’ badge for iOS7.

We only have the English version now but as soon as Apple release the new buttons we’ll share accordingly.
You’ll be pleased to know that all our pass.is pages automatically display the new Add to Passbook button.

The badge looks so fresh in iOS7!

Give it a try now with any of your pass templates that have dynamic fields requiring input from the pass holder. And if you don’t have one of those yet, try pass.is/chop. (best viewed on your mobile device).

Remember that the Add to Passbook badge is developed for use on passes such as electronic tickets, boarding passes, loyalty cards, and coupons that can be stored in Passbook on iPhone and iPod touch. The badge should appear only in association with your PassKit passes.

Best practices for the Add to Passbook iOS7 badge

Do:

  • Use one badge for each pass that can be added to Passbook.
  • For a ticket, boarding pass, gift card, coupon, or any other Passbook-compatible pass, place the badge directly on or near the pass.
  • Place the badge on the layout so that it is clearly visible yet in a subordinate position following the main graphics and messages.
Don’t:

  • Do not let the badge dominate your layout as the primary message or main graphic. It must be secondary to your main message and product or company identity.
  • Do not obstruct the badge with text, graphics, violators, or images.
  • Do not use the Apple logo.
  • Do not use the Passbook icon in isolation.
  • Do not rotate, tilt, or animate the badge.
  • Do not add visual effects to the badge such as shadows or glows.
